Captain's Log: Stardate: 65455.9
We are once again taking the Kilimanjaro out. I never thought a pet project like this would turn out going into active duty.
For now, all we can do is wait here at Central point for our next orders.
While some of my crew are not altogether happy with the change from a Nebula Class, We will still have missions with Polaris. I don't want to give her up.
I think that having to revert to slightly earlier technology for the most part, and give up a little luxury is a good exersize for my crew. We will all be better officers for it. This is an opportunity to do something important. Something that really makes a difference for the Federation.
I have to admit that I, like some of the crew feel some trepidation. I am concerned over the gravity of these missions and the potential for disaster.

Captain's log: Stardate 684011.3. We have discovered the planetoid in the region around Central point. It appears to be a focal point point In the flow of time lines. This flow-this balance depends upon a substance called "Chronite". We have also discovered that a group of apparently hostile aliens have somehow found their way here and are terrorizing the inhabitants of the planet, who call themselves "The Timekeepers". We are currently surrounded by these aliens. we must try to reason with them and make them believe that what they are attempting--to use the chronite like dilithium could be catastrophic. So far these beings have proved to be close minded and opportunistic. I believe I may have an angle to slow them down and buy us some time as the ship arrives.

Captain's Log: Stardate: 80948.3 We have followed the heading that the priest gave us. We have now located in the distance, and old style Federation frigate. Her registry and call sign reads USS Solaris. At first scan, the ship appears to be intact, and seems to even have power in operation. She is also encompassed in a cloud that seems to be emitting chronoton radiation. Amir has picked up some strange readings emanating from the warp core. Due to the radiation, it is difficult to get accurate readings of the ship. Lt Khambatti feels that a transporter beam going through the chronoton field may be unpredictable, but we should be able to board with one of our shuttles, as our shields are fitted with antichroniton protocols. According to Starfleet history: In 2263, the Solaris was built as a prototype. And upgrade of the Larsen class destroyers. She was doing a trial run to experiment with running three nacelles at high power. This experiment, and others like it led to the development of the Federation class and other Dreadnoughts. According to the report made by the accompanying ship, USS Fargo, The Solaris disappeared during the experiment. No record of an explosion or warp core breach was detected. The ship was listed as Missing in action with no conclusive explanation. It seems it is now our job to solve this mystery and perhaps clear up this incident.

Ship's Log: Stardate:80948.7. We are in an area of space that is now known as "The Alley of temporal conduits". At the request of the Priests that are called "The Timekeepers". We have discovered a 23rd century frigate USS Solaris. NCC - 2039. I read about this ship in Engineering history class at the academy. It was an upgrade of the Larsen class Destroyer. The Idea was for the ship to have more power, so 2 additional nacelles were added. These ships were originally intended not for long range voyages or exploration, but as a defense ship. Groups of these ships would patrol the sectors and greatly bolster Federation territory defenses. In 2263, a Dr Montrose Kirwin, renowned warp field theorist wanted to try a warp field experiment. He needed the power of the three nacelles to test his theory. The ship disappeared during the test. We are coming alongside the Solaris. She appears intact. In fact, she looks as if time stood still for her. I'm wagering it did. Commander Kitona will be taking an Away team over. I await more information.

Captain's Log: Stardate; 80948.6 Away team is aboard the Solaris. We have found one life form on the bridge. Security teams will investigate. Engineers Kitona And Khambatti are attempting to figure out what's going on with the warp core. I've never seen readings like this, yet...I have a feeling about something. With all we've experienced, and looking at data from other races like the traveller, It seems that a being can at some point of evolution attain a level where time space and thought are all....one and the same. I've never thought such a thing possible, but with what we've experienced thus far, I find my skepticism slowly lifting. Attachments:

Captain's Log; Stardate: 80948.7 We have managed to find out what happened to the Solaris. The warp experiment caused some sort of flux, possibly even a one in a million chance. Time, space, thought Emotion, all being one. It is a hard concept to grasp, yet history is filled with beings that such abilities. A man called "The Traveller" Was said to possess such abilty. I don't pretend to understand any of this completely. I wonder though, will our races ever reach a point where we don't need Starships to travel? Attachments:
