The crew seems to be settling into the new ship and the new mission quite well considering what is at risk. Understanding the danger and as always willing to follow our Captain’s orders no matter what. Of course there are concerns that the temporal agent will have to address once Admiral Helm tells us who he or she is. Only time will tell if all the crew will be on board for this or if some will wish to stay behind, but I for one am going to go with the Captain for I trust him with my life and the life of my children and husband.
This type of mission is what I was born to do and born to be a part of. Turning it down would be turning my back on what makes me tick and turning my back on my commission. I can’t do that. Not now when John and the triplets need me more than ever, and when the Captain needs a first officer he can trust. Regal as resigned his commission once more to be with family and is staying on board as medical consultant whether or not that is a good thing time will tell. I just hope he’s happy and not losing ground on his fight to try and make something of his life.
Personal issues aside though this mission seams important and not just by the Captain but by Starfleet. The part of Starfleet that cares anything about the Federation and isn’t corrupted by greed or power; the only thing I regret about becoming an officer is having to play politics. That shouldn’t be the role of an officer of the armed forces that keep the boarders of an alliance protected. Small price to pay for following one’s own dream and heart; just hope that someday when my children get older they understand why their parents did what they did and raised them where we had to raise them.

Stardate 80948.7
We came along side a ship that appears to be well beyond its age and in mid breach. A engineering team and security have shuttled over with me. There is no crew left on the ship and the engines seam to be stable. We're still trying to asertain what exsactally has happened to the ship and the Captain seams eager to hear what findings we may have to all the questions that seam to have no answers at this point.
What information we have on the ship is from the database and that doesn't leave us much leads as to why there is only one life sign reading and the ship engineering section in the state that it is. Security is invesgiating the bridge to see if that life sign reading is a true reading or if it is a hickup in sensors. I hope that whatever they find on the bridge gives us some clue as to how to fix this ship and get her back into service. I know that the Federation is in need of every ship that they can possibly salvage.
On a more personal note. The travling in time I am getting use to and the tripplets so far seam uneffected thanks to their grandfather's watchful eye. I am not so sure that this mystery can be solved using the technology of the time and the ship that we are on. So much of the knowlage that we all have is beyhond what people of this erra or the erra of the ship we are invesgiating are even capable of even imagining having access to. I just hope that we are able to maintain our cover and not get discovered.
