Here we will discuss the purpose of Central point and the basic rules.

What is Central Point?

Central point is intended as Point of convergence in the Star Trek Universes. It is a place where all races can meet on common ground in a neutral, peaceful surrounding.

It consists primarily of Board SIM play, or Posting between members. This is not a place for Action or battle, but for commerce and character development.

Anyone is welcome to join. Your character must be of the Star Trek universe. We do not mix Genres here. Anime, Halo, WoW, etc. are not acceptable.

The Station board will consist of departments.
Operations
Administration (Handled mainly by myself)
Communications
Security
Medical.

These Dept's. Need to be staffed.

In addition, There will be private enterprise as well.
Restaurants
Bars
Recreation facilities
Shops of any feasible kind.

You can be a proprietor of one of these. People will come to you and post just as if they were visiting your shop. You would sell your goods, etc.

This would not require a large time commitment.

The Idea is bring together characters form different SIMs and RPG's to "Mix things up".

This is also intended as a place for people to network who are looking for crew members or players.

GMs and SIM leaders will also be given permission to have a thread and promote their SIM or game. This will expose new people to your game, and expose you to other types of SIMs and RPG's.

We will also have places for Trivia contests, Fan fiction, Fan artwork, Poetry, anything.

What you write and create is credited to you and is your property to leave there, or remove at your own discretion.

The rules are very basic.

No Violence is permitted on the station. Firearms and bladed weapons are not permissible.

Proper conduct is expected. You are expected to behave in a mature manner and respect these basic rules.

Proper language will be used. No bad words, no insults, no juvenile behavior will be tolerated.

This all about having fun with characters in a new setting.

These are the basics. Addendums will be submitted as questions arise covering anything I may have missed, or clarifying anything that needs it.
